1994-1997 For People's Choice, K&M, with the help of The Nation Institute and The Dia Foundation, create the Most Wanted and Most Unwanted paintings, first in America and Russia and then around the world, based on results of nationwide surveys conducted by polling companies. K&M discovered that, regardless of sex, race, education, or income, in paintings, the majority of people preferred landscapes and the color blue The beginning of the project Ecollaboration (1995), K&M collaborate on abstract paintings with Renee, an African elephant at the Toledo Zoo, Ohio. Later, at the end of the 1990s, this event was transformed to the Asian Elephant Art and Conservation Project (AEACP).
